blargSnes is an usrland only hb and i think it is in the interest of the creator that it will remain that way. What you described (not sure if that is even possible) works only with full system control.
Besides that ARM9 has nothing to do with the GPU and can't access it at all. The ARM9 is just a slave for security important things like crypto, gamecards, SD/NAND access and more in 3DS mode. |

xerpi is reverse engineering sysmodules right now to find out how to do it. Unfortunately the DSi touchscreen read code in libnds does not correctly work. I thought because it is backwards compatible that could work but it is different in 3DS mode. |

I think a merge could bring a bit more life into this place. You just need to be careful so it does not end up as GBAfail v2. |

I'm not sure why you want to do that. Pretty sure neither the DSi firmware nor the 3DS one support that. But it might work with homebrew fine. |

Example how to use the RomFS here: https://github.com/devkitPro/3ds-examples/tree/master/romfs |

I'm not familiar with that lib. If it is not hardcoded to sdmc:/ and uses fopen and friends you can just pass romfs:/ paths. |

So yes, the lib should deal fine with files from RomFS. Now you just must make sure the files are actually in the RomFS and at the right location. |
