I don't know who built that 1.3b (probably Discostew) and which revision was used, so... eh ____________________ blargSNES -- SNES emu for 3DS More cool stuff |

I have an OLD 3DSXL (ver. 9.5.0-22U) running homebrew 2.5 (with homemenuhax installed via browserhax).
I've downloaded both 1.2 and 1.3 versions. Deleted the old one off my SD card before installing the new one. But they don't work, 1.2 worked ONCE the first time I installed it and then stopped. Can someone help me? Thanks ![]() |

Posted by JulianDN 1.3b works fine for me using *hax 2.5. To use the older versions, you'd have to use an older payload, which they might not be hosted anymore. |

Posted by trashdinner No ETA ATM, but there are things in the works. But be aware, it's the holidays, and RL things have priority. You understand. |

Is there any way to change the controls? I'm more used to the GBA versions of SNES titles, for example I'd like to have R as spinjump rather than the default A in SMW. If not, any plans to add this or any way I can do this myself (keeping in mind I don't know any programming stuff)? |

blargSnes does not yet support remapping controls. It is hardcoded. I think that is very low priority on the list. First comes better compatibility and speed improvements. |

Posted by mastercreeper Have you used the emulator as a prior version before? You may have to delete the ini file for blargSNES on the root directory. When in doubt, start with a clean slate. Posted by JebusChrist As of this moment, there are no plans for remapping, mainly because the control layout of the 3DS is so extremely close to the SNES. Yes, the face buttons aren't skewed like they are on an SNES controller, but it's close enough. |

Boy, it sure would be nice if we could have games like F-Zero running at 60fps on an o3DS, wouldn't it? |

It sure would.
By the way, is there a .cia versión of BlargSNES? Now that the 3DS has been cracked open it would be the best option. |

Posted by JulianDN Just like all other 3dsx homebrew. Just copy it to /3ds/[name]/ The name of the folder needs to be the same as the 3dsx file. The smdh also needs to be named the same as the 3dsx file. So it should look something like this: /3ds/blargSnes/blargSnes.3dsx /3ds/blargSnes/blargSnes.smdh Well, there is a couple of small exception to the rule, for example: the 3dsx file can be named "boot.3dsx" and the smdh named "icon.smdh" while the folder can be named whatever you want. |
