Hi, great work as always. I was just wondering if this was still in development what with the official n3ds release and whatnot since I'm one of those o3ds peasants that needs my outdated game fix.

Might want to scroll up a bit. StapleButter just mentioned an issue he's run into. BlargSnes is great, but if you need to play a SNES game on the go and blargSnes can't play it, I'd look into grabbing a cheap PSP if price is an issue.

I would like to check the compatibility of the game Marvel Super Heroes - War of the Gems , as have a new 3DS and the game starts well, but when I select a mission the game crashes and is only with sound and no picture

Yeah, that's why I was asking lol. I wasn't sure if development was dropping or if it's just stymied

If you have a N3DS than there is literally no reason why you should be using blargSNES over RetroArch's CATSFC core at this point.

I want to play Zelda ALTTP and on the compatibility list it says it works only on 1.2

I'm running homebrew with cubic ninja and ninjhax and version 1.2 doesn't start, not the game, the emulator itself doesn't start and it just crashes with a black screen.

Any suggestions?

If you're trying to run an older version of the emulator after having ran a newer version, try deleting the blargsnes.ini file on the root of the card, and start up the emulator again. Dunno what to say outside of that. I think older builds have problems on newer *hax.

Is it possible to have this use a screenshots/covers preview while selecting ROMs like the Wii does?

Don't count on it. blargSNES still has emulation issues with the base of the system. Snes9xGX derives from an SNES9x build that already has great compatibility, so they could focus on interface stuff like this.

I was playing chronotrigger with blargSnes(Homebrew) and I saved ingame but now when I turned it on again my save file is gone? Anyone knows if I have to open up the save from within the sd card or something? help

I've been trying to make it work on my 11.0.33U 3DS with MenuHax the first time I tried it it crashed when selecting a rom and the other times it didn't do anything at all. I've been trying to reinstall it but it didn't work either. Did I do Something wrong?
EDIT: Nevermind, I just had to install 1.3b instead of 1.3a.

Any chance of building forwarder .cias for this? After recently installing forwarders for my DSTWO card I am craving more. Putting a selection of SNES game icons right on the 3DS homescreen, and booting directly into blargsnes would be amazing

Installed the newest Version of blargsnes 1.3 as a .cia.
in my 3ds sd card is a "snes" folder with roms inside.
but if i start the .cia there is just a black screen and the O3ds xl freezes.
not usable at the moment.

EDIT: Same error at the .3ds file for gateway emunand.

When I run a rom, I get sound but, no video, only a grey top screen. The bottom screen works as intended.
