Did you read what has been posted? The precompiled builds do not work on ironhax & co. It's because of changes in ctrulib.

Just registered here, i'm using last build on my OG 3DS and wondered if the project is still in development, since it's been... 4 months? since 1.3 it seems.

I'm actually editing the gbatemp compatibility wiki with games i'm trying. Am i doing anything wrong or does almost no fighting game works correctly? At least the good ones. Power Instinct can't get past main menu, Killer Instinct loads at random, Super Street Fighter II has glitched sprites, and so on.

Are there news about the advancements of this emulator?

jeah i installed the 1.3 blarg snes on emunand 10.1 of the Gateway on my 3ds.
in the snes folder, i putted the seiken densetsu 3.sfc rom.
and if i try to start blargsnes...there is only a blackscreen and nothing happens. can anybody tell me the misstake or help me ?

I'd be really interested to know this as well. I've got a savegame for a link to the past that I'd love to load up but it's a known issue that it hangs on 1.3 when you select a save game :\

I 3rd the interest in this emulator. After adding the hardware renderer it runs almost perfectly on O3DS. It would be awesome if things like battle backgrounds on earthbound were fixed.

I have had the same problem. I tried all versions (1.2, 1.3 etc 3ds and cia files) with different emunand (9.9, 10.1). I'm using gateway card with BigBlueBox

EDIT: I found a way to get BlargSNES starting: I used FBI installer cia. ( http://gbatemp.net/threads/release-fbi-open-source-cia-installer.386433/ )

1) start FBI installer
2) if not installed: install BlargSNES
3) press R 3 time until you are in the mode "Launch Title"
4) launch CTR-P-BLRG and enjoy (tested with blargsnes version 1.3 and FBI 1.4.15, EMUNAND 10.1)

I actually signed up, just to see if anyone has a fix for this...I boot up Bahamut Lagoon and all I get is the music test. Works on my pc but music test only for blargSNES. Anyone know how to get past this? blargSNES 1.2 on N3DS newest ironhax.

Hey, I know it's a longshot, but is there any emulation for the cx4 chip in the works? I'd kill for Megaman X 2/3 on 3ds

This is a known issue that I believe has plagued blargSNES since the beginning.

Not all games work with blargSNES. Some attempt to go through, but mess up in some form.

The reason for the crash is not in blargSnes. Just wait until themehax got fixed completely.

Hey, can anyone tell me which of the mario/Donkey Kong games are Proven to be working? because I have tried many different ones and none of them are launching. I read that there's some sort of issue with the themehax launch, can this be avaoided with using other homebrew launch methods? I have 3 currently installed and working, browserhax, tubehax, and themehax. Thanks!



EDIT: Using the tubehax method allows it to run the games; Themehax and Browserhax do not work. so... that.

For people wondering why blargSNES doesn't seem to work with HomeMenuHax and various others, the word on the street is that it locks up due to the 2nd core not being initialized, as blargSNES is one of the few apps that utilizes it. HomeMenuHax and others like it do not initialize the 2nd core for app use. Thankfully, until this is fixed (which is not on blargSNES's end), you can initialize it yourself by running an existing app, like the Music Player. Here are the steps to get it working through HomeMenuHax.

- Boot system as normal (no loading of HomeMenuHax just yet)
- Launch the Music Player app (this app will initialize the 2nd core)
- After it is loaded, press the power button once to be notified the software was closed.
- Press the Home button to return to the Home Menu
- Hold L as it is loading back the Home Menu to launch HomeMenuHax
- Go about your business from there

im having a serious problem with diddy kongs quest
two problems actually
1st problem is on my 100th bannana instead of reseting back to zero it glitchs to 66 bananas
2nd problem im up to the level Glimmer's Galleon when i start the level glimmers light doesnt turn on so the whole screen is black and i cant see anything
ive used ZSNES emulater before and i know how to edit the graphic settings turn layers on and off. how do i fix it in blagSnes tho??
can somone help me fix these 2 problems ples :)
